The TGV is the flagship program of SNCF. It is the train that reinvented mobility.

France and SNCF are about to make history, and establish a speed record synonymous with future mobility and societal progress. At this key moment, SNCF tells the unforgettable story of the world record attempt.

To create public awareness, key people involved in the project were interviewed during a period of one year.

On the final day, onboard cameras in the train, still cameras along the way, and aerial photography were all used for the global live broadcast. A single device captured the speed of the train and revealed the record as it happened.

Meanwhile, 400 guests and media attended a live 90-minute TV show at the Champagne-Ardenne station.

Finally, to share the land speed record (574.8 km/h) with all of France, a big parade of historical trains was organized at the Seine, and an exhibition took place at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.
