The adidas “Republic of Sports” starts in 2016 in Shanghai as a one-event with the objective of uniting thematically its five different sports units, while promoting a passion for sports, and increasing the brand desirability. It turns into an integrated sports campaign in 2017, expanding to four cities in China, and in 2018, it returns for another action-packed summer with a refreshed concept and more technology involvement.
The events showcase the brand’s core sports units – football, basketball, running, training, outdoor – through a rich program of live events, fitness classes, matches, hype events as well as interactive digital experiences and retail activations. Every zone is carefully conceived and designed based on the theme « Creators in Progress » meaning that sports are part of a creative process growing and progressing with the constant practice.
