The World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE), established by Qatar Foundation in 2009 under the patronage of its chairperson, Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, is an international initiative aimed at transforming education through innovation.

WISE is an international, multi-sectoral platform for creative thinking, debate and purposeful action. WISE has established itself as a global reference in new approaches to education. Through both the annual summit and a range of ongoing programs WISE is promoting innovation and building the future of education through collaboration.

Since 2009, WISE has evolved into a thriving global, multi-sectoral community, which continues to generate fruitful dialogue and productive partnerships. Today the WISE community is a network of education stakeholders from about 200 countries who share ideas and collaborate to seek creative solutions to solve challenges facing education.

A key highlight of the Summit is the announcement of the WISE Prize for Education laureate awarded to an individual or a team in recognition of an outstanding contribution to education.

The Summit is a unique opportunity for the 2,000 participants to find out more about the most cutting-edge practices in education, network with high-level people from all sectors and from all countries, and actively participate in building the future of education.
