Maybelline New York takes trends from the catwalk to the sidewalk, allowing women to make a statement, explore new looks, and flaunt their own creativity and individuality.

To launch Maybelline’s new global brand statement in the Chinese market, the brand wanted to design a stand out event, a unique occasion that would create authentic and instant media buzz.

Empowering women with confidence and beauty, Maybelline designed an open back stage fashion show where guests were invited to mingle and watch as the models prepared for the grand runway show. The event targeted some of China’s most popular internet KOL’s, offering them a dream come true occasion to try out new products and styles while blog about them live.

The fashion show presented three chapters: Passion, Boldness and Seduction, exhibiting tailor-made looks and concepts for the everyday woman as well as representing new and upcoming trends. Towards the end of the show, Maybelline revealed their new spokesperson and brand ambassador, Chinese megastar AngelaBaby as she debuted their new lipstick.
